The National Tuberculosis Program (NTP) Iraq application is committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of patient data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information.
Information We Collect
The app collects patient demographic data (name, age, gender, governorate), clinical records (visits, diagnoses, lab results, x-rays), treatment data (DOT records, pharmacy dispensing), and facility inventory information. All data is entered by authorized healthcare workers only.
How We Use Information
Data is used exclusively for tuberculosis case management, treatment monitoring, inventory tracking, and public health reporting within the Iraqi healthcare system. We do not use data for commercial purposes.
Data Storage & Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secure servers. Access is restricted to authenticated users with role-based permissions. Sessions expire after periods of inactivity.
Data Sharing
Patient data is shared only within the NTP healthcare network on a need-to-know basis. We do not sell, trade, or share data with third parties outside the program.
Your Rights
Healthcare workers can request corrections to data they have entered. Patients may inquire about their records through their treating facility. For data-related requests, please contact our support team.
